Myer Hotels received recognition for outstanding service and high-quality properties. The Holiday Inn Express Green Mtn. Drive and the Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows took top honors for “Branson’s Best Hotel” from Best of The Ozarks, the annual reader poll recognizing the best people, places and things that make The Ozarks “a special place.” The awards ceremony took place at The Gillioz Theatre in Springfield, MO.
Choice Hotels, along with Pinnacle Hospitality Group and The Wankawala Organization, broke ground on the Cambria Hotel Ocean City. The 133-room property is slated to open in the summer of 2019.
Governor Andrew Cuomo was on hand at the grand reopening of the historic Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake, NY, commemorating the event with a ribbon cutting at its location in Franklin County. In 2013, the 82-room hotel closed for renovations, which culminated in a four-year $35.3-million restoration.
