Kimpton, Anthropologie curate accessory collection for travelers

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and retailer Anthropologie have partnered to launch a collection of seasonal accessories for guests. The items, which are meant to ease travel stress, are complimentary for guests to borrow.

“Kimpton is known for its thoughtfulness and unique touches that enhance our guests’ experience,” said Kathleen Reidenbach, SVP, marketing & commercial, IHG Luxury & Lifestyle Americas and Kimpton Global. “We know what it’s like to get to a hotel and unpack only to realize you’ve forgotten an item that was going to tie your whole outfit together.”

Kimpton’s Forgot It? We’ve Got It! Anthropologie Accessories Collection provides travelers with chic, one-of-a-kind accessories to pair with any outfit for any occasion.

“Kimpton’s priority is to provide heartfelt care to its guests through creative partnerships with like-minded brands that help amplify the Kimpton guest experience,” Reidenbach said. “Anthropologie is the first brand partner for Kimpton’s popular Forgot It? We’ve Got It! program and elevates this program with specially curated, high-end accessories.”

Forgot It? We’ve Got It!—one of Kimpton’s long-standing service initiatives—provides travelers with any item they may have forgotten on their trip, from toiletries to electronics, free of charge at any Kimpton property.

“As a brand at the forefront of setting trends and providing customers with high-quality offerings, we knew Anthropologie was the right partner for this program,” Reidenbach said. “Our customer bases also overlap, making the collaboration a natural fit and an exciting perk for guests to experience while traveling.”

Available to guests are accessories like sunglasses, handbags and belts, among other hand-picked items. Aside from helping guests replace an item forgotten at home, the program also helps guests discover styles and try something new without having to commit to a purchase.

To participate, guests inquire at the hotel front desk and are shown the virtual storefront of Anthropologie accessories from which to choose. Guests are asked to sign a quick waiver and once they’re finished with the item, they’ll return it to the front desk at any time during their stay.

Reidenbach explained that Kimpton’s Forgot It? We’ve Got It! Anthropologie Accessories Collection is reserved for guests staying at participating properties. However, the Anthropologie items in the collection are available for purchase for any fans of both brands through Anthropologie’s virtual storefront.

She said that the products will rotate seasonally and feature a variety of items appropriate for different seasons, weather and climates, and added that the collection is offered at 20 Kimpton properties across the U.S., with expansion to additional properties and regions to follow in the coming months.

“This partnership will relieve a big stressor that often plagues travelers—forgetting to pack something crucial,” Reidenbach said. “We hope that through this program, guests will feel empowered to try new things when it comes to their style, and that they’ll be able to enjoy their stay without the worry of having to try and find a shop that can replace an item they forgot.
