Mr. C Beverly Hills puts luxury spin on bath routine

BEVERLY HILLS, CA—To bathe, to soak or even bubble up—any way you say it, bath time is relaxing for most.

Italian-inspired hotel Mr. C Beverly Hills, part of the Cipriani hospitality empire of restaurants, hotels and event spaces—including properties in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Monte Carlo, Moscow, Ibiza and Venice—is putting a spin on guests’ daily bathtime routine.

Dubbed the Bath Concierge, the hotel’s latest in-suite service is offered through Mr. C Spa & Beauty, and it aims to “bring a whole new level of luxury to the guest experience,” said Sara Corwin, spa director at Mr. C Spa & Beauty.

The onsite spa’s footprint is small, so the team at Mr. C sought out ways to capitalize on the additional real estate the hotel could offer in a way that would extend the luxury experience and personalized pampering offered in the spa.

At Mr. C Beverly Hills, guests can get the spa experience in the guestroom.

“One request we always get from hotel and spa guests alike is for a Jacuzzi, which the hotel doesn’t offer with the exception of 12 of our suites,” Corwin said. “Our guests love our in-suite couples massages, with a beautiful view of Beverly Hills, so adding a personalized Bath Concierge service to our in-suite massages really has allowed us to bring a whole new level of luxury to the guest experience. Making every guest feel luxuriously pampered is our ultimate goal.”

Guests can put down those bars of soap and upgrade their experience with a selection of treatments and products from the spa’s menu. “Our spa features ESPA products, which we use in our luxury massages from our spa menu. ESPA has a wonderful aromatherapy experience,” Corwin said, noting that the hotel uses the corresponding ESPA body and bath oils. “When our guests book the in-suite couples aromatherapy massage with Bath Concierge, we do a personalized consultation to determine which essential oil blend best meets their individual needs. We then follow the massage with the ESPA bath oils added to their bath to continue the experience. Our ESPA bath and body oils come in a range of blends, including fitness, soothing, restorative, resistance, detoxifying and energizing.”

For the hotel, a natural experience is important. The product line is based on holistic health and marine and plant-based organic products. The hotel brand believes that intention is everything, noted Corwin.

“The ESPA bath amenities are 99.9% natural and organic ingredients. They are certified organic by the German EcoCert, which has a higher organic standard that the FDA organic certification,” she said. “They are made from organic and ethically sourced indigenous plant essential oils and carrier oils.”

At Mr. C Beverly Hills, feedback is everything and it was what informed this new offering. The hotel heard the responses from guests who expressed a desire for a Jacuzzi for relaxation and took it one step further. “We found the best possible way we could to accommodate these requests by providing a luxurious spa treatment capitalizing on the in-suite Jacuzzi tubs,” Corwin concluded.
